Villas of Carillon - Western Pond Algae

Dear VOC Residents,

As many of you are aware, the pond closest to the front of the property has seen a tremendous amount of algae growth. Our vendor came out Monday 11/1 to investigate and reported that, during recent heavy rains, a plant called Azolla drained into the pond. This plant grows quickly and covers the entire pond. It typically takes 2-3 treatments to completely eliminate it and these treatments must be spaced apart by at least two weeks. The vendor applied the first treatment on 11/1 and anticipates having this completely cleared up within the next 3-4 weeks.
