Villas of Carillon - Exit Gate Repaired
Dear Residents,
We’re happy to report that the primary exit gate operators were successfully replaced last Thursday (11/18) and the gate is now open for use again. We'd like to thank the residents your patience while the Board and Management & Associates worked diligently to obtain bids and get that project prioritized with the vendor.
On a related note: our gate vendor reported that their technicians were confronted by a resident while they were on site performing the work. The confrontation caused a delay to the project which nearly resulted in them having to return for a second day to complete the job. This company prioritized our project knowing that we had experienced thefts in the neighborhood and mobilized a team out of Orlando to get our job done before the holiday. If they had to return for a second day, this would have cost the Association several hundred dollars to re-mobilize their team and would have disrupted their business, pushing other jobs back, etc.
The Board of Directors and Property Manager would like to remind all residents that they are to respect all contractors we have on site performing work on behalf of the Association and to the benefit of all 165 homeowners who are paying for these services. Residents are not to interfere with Association contractors in any way and should contact the property manager directly if they have questions or concerns. Any resident found to be interfering with Association contractors will be assessed a fine, and any additional costs resulting from delays caused by resident interference will be billed directly back to the resident. It is neither appropriate nor fair to contractors who are here to work or the other residents in the community for certain individuals to continue to behave in this way.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Villas of Carillon Board of Directors
