Canvas Awning Recovery Project

Dear Villas of Carillon Residents,

As many of you may already be aware, all 70 resident front entry canvas awnings and the 3 clubhouse awnings are scheduled for recovering.

On Monday, 3/28, our contractor will be on site to begin the first phase. They anticipate completing 6-7 awnings per phase (per week) and that the project will completed by early-mid June.

During each phase, they will remove the 6-7 awnings along with the frames from the building, bring them back to their factory to recover them, then mount the recovered frames back to the building using new aluminum fasteners. Affected residents will be without awnings while they are being recovered.

NOTE: No further detail is available with regard to which specific awnings are being recovered in which phase. Please do not contact the Association requesting this information as it is not available.

The awnings will be recovered in a brighter, terracotta canvas which was selected with the help of an exterior design specialist contracted by the Association. Our original color and many others within the color spectrum appropriate for our community have been discontinued, however we are confident everyone will be pleased with the the new selection.
