Canvas Awning Recover Project - Completed

Dear Residents,

The Villas of Carillon awning recovering project has been completed.

A reminder to all residents that the maintenance and repair of all front entry awnings (as well as the clubhouse area awnings) are the responsibility of the Association.

These awnings will be inspected annually by our vendor. The vendor will take steps to maintain the awnings, based on the inspection results at the discretion of the board of directors in order to extend the useful life of the fabric. As necessary, the vendor will hand-clean awnings using hose pressure only (no hose nozzle or pressure washer), dish soap (i.e. Dawn) and soft bristle brush to remove deeply embedded soil and grime. No harsh chemicals will be used as this will break down the waterproofing sealer in the fabric. They will also re-treat the awnings with an application of protective sealer as necessary to help reduce fading/color loss.

NOTE: residents who have ACC-approved rear balcony awnings must maintain these awnings themselves. It is recommended that you contact the Association vendor directly to have them professionally maintained. Otherwise, follow the steps mentioned above.

If you believe your front entry awning is in need of cleaning and/or repair, contact the Property Manager.

Sincerely,

Villas of Carillon Board of Directors
